Parma Plus Controller

Postby btaylor » Fri Sep 05, 2014 11:31 am

Anyone using Parma plus controllers? How do they differ from the econo controller of the same name?
I am looking at a good deal on a 45 ohm plus unit for less than $40,seems like a good deal, but never used one.

I have 2 25 ohm Parma Plus controllers and they work very well with either Carrera or Slot.it cars, which is all I have. The difference is that the wires are 14 gauge, there are 2 extra contact points and the frame is same as found in their Turbo controller, but with only a single resistor. Only color is clear plastic. The two extra contact points are one to ensure full power and the other for brake. I have used them for over a year and have had no problems. The list price for them on Parma site is $48.59.

Thanks Joseph, sounds like a pretty good controller for home use. I only need two for my road course, and I will need the braking feature, I guess its a go at $38.95 and free shipping.
Appreciate the response!
