replacement for sport power track???

Prior to tearing down my current sport track, decided to make one more run. Would have been nice, but for the second time my sport terminal (analog) track has a problem with the right side power input. Cant complain much its about 10 years old. Any suggestions for a replacement / upgrade ? As soon as I can scrape up the spare funds I want to get a PM adjustable power supply, so I can dial things down a bit. My discretionary funding and the space for my track are being seriously affected by a now teenage daughter, though she likes to race. Could use the remaining good side of my scaley track with the PM supply to feed both lanes, or is there a better alternative? Anyone have a scaley sport terminal track for cheap, let me know so I can do some floor racing till I reorganize my storage / track space.

Variable power supply and wire it direct to a regular track piece. With appropriate fuses of course. It's what I did on mine. Running standard positive power now on Scaley Sport track rather than the typical plastic track negative control.
