Nice addition! The razor has been the best investment in terms on how it has improved my slotracing (even here in NZ)!
I have a couple of suggestions:
- would it be possible to offer the indicator in metric units?
- would it be possible to have a stopper to set the min height that the axle can be moved down?
- finally, I usually sand one tyre at the time and I do not move the sanding pad: I just let the pad under the tyre until the tyre is completely trued. But with vibration and/or debris the sanding pad might not always sit flat on the truer. My suggestion here would be to have a profile in the slot where the pad sits, such that the pad can slide through but not vertical movement would be allowed...I know that this would require a complete redesign of the truer.
Sorry if it is a bit out of topic.

Hi John, cool product.
I presume that you sand the tire, then pull off and place under the indicator to check your size?
Maybe I'm thinking about it too much just trying to understand how I can use it on my Razor.
thanks.

No, the indicator sits on the "floor" of the Razor, but the body is attached to the block that raises and lowers it. As you lower the block (sand more off the tires), the gauge will reflect the change. When you finish off one tire, you write down what the gauge says. Then you sand down the second (and any subsequent) tire(s) until the gauge says the same thing that it did with the first tire. The result is two (or more) tires that have the same diameter after being trued, which is important for chassis balance and traction performance.
