They actually look a slightly better design from the MicroMark ones. I bought mine on special last year when they had both sizes for the price of one. But they leave some pretty hefty marks on the brass.

Thank you for the link - I have been doing mine the hard way, as I only had done some simple supports, etc before the Mini build... Those would have come in VERY handy for doing that full on scratch build - I may have to look at getting a set of those, looking toward this years Mini proxy! :)

Let me endorse the Micro Mark set. I use them all the time, from making Christmas present hangers for my wife's wall hanging quilt art to slot cars to a wire cage to protect the lights on my tractor from brush in the woods. I have yet to find a radius, angle, or fancy doodad I can't make with them. When I bought them, I thought they were overpriced. I was wrong.

Ive always just used a bench vice. Then fine tune the bend with standard pliers. Seems to have worked for me for the last 35 years.

That's what I did for decades, but my needs changed when I started doing fancy stuff for my wife. Now I use these rascals and wonder why I didn't think of them before.

I did order up a set of those to try - glad to hear that they are good for as heavy as 1/8" (while I used that heavy of flats for the Mini - I don't think that will be my norm ;) ).
Most of the rear bushing loops, braces, etc I have made in the past have all been notably smaller diameter wire/tubing than that, so this set will give me a good feel for how "handy" these may be (verse doing it with arbors, multiple sets of pliers, etc)
