You can see it back there by the soldering station. Still going strong today.

Here's something to consider- I have that same one, even the same color. The tool that replaced it is not much more, and is much better. And that guy's shipping is BS.

They sure used to, that's where mine came from, but I tried for 20 minutes and never found it today online.

Yeah, there's a balancing act you do with them. If its something you just can't screw up, then you move forward, but for things that can suffer from CCS Syndrome*, you really have to walk away rather than experiment with them. Oddly, a good deal of their machinist's tools are not bad at all, and they certainly beat MicroMark's prices. But I still get nervous about it and check them out more than anybody else. They change over time. I used to use their 18v drill/screw guns, because they were cheap and I went through them pretty fast when building cabinetry in some big construction sites (big grocery stores, etc.). Over a period of about four years, the drills went from pretty dang good to unusable junk with planetary gears that were made of plastic, and motor shafts so cheap that if it fell from hip height to the floor, it was ruined.

BTW, CCS is Cheap Chinese Sh- well, you understand.

I've been tormented by the ads for these cut-off saws, but there doesn't seem to be one that will operate on the UK's lethal 240 volts.
Finished up buying one made by Proxxon - at three times the price!, and probably only about half as good.
It isn't just the Chinese that make cheap sh***; the Germans have their moments as well - only it's not that cheap.

Mind you, at least they still make stuff,unlike us.

I recently had to buy a new electric kettle,after the CCS one we had burned out in less than 18 months.Found it is impossible to buy a kettle in the UK that isn't made in China - so I guess I'll be looking for another one in 18 months time.

But having said all that, I have found that if you need a machine for one job only, it can be worth buying CCS, as it's often cheaper than hiring;and sometimes you're pleasantly surprised when the thing lasts for years.

did you get the saw? did you try an abrasive disk in it to chop ejector pins? I need to know you know

HF has some cheapo diamond disks, too. I use one on my tiny table saw.

I'm sure Jon is aware of the metallurgy involved in making things like ejector pins very, very hard alloy steel without making them brittle, so get his advice before cutting that kind of thing to make sure you don't get it too hot or fracture it. Machinists have to know metal as well as I have to know woods, and the wrong decision can ruin something.
