I waited for someone to ask for me, but no one bit. What the heck is that? How do you use it?

I hope I don't get censored for saying this, but Dan Dyke is a BOOGER BUTT! There. I feel better now.
Now, as to the tool, I have set valve tappets on everything from huge marine engines to Rolls-Royce Merlins, and dozens of mechanical lifter American V-8s, and I never saw that kind of feeler gauge. It looks brilliant. I can just see it in action. Where was this thing when I was working so hard to get it just right? (when you get it wrong on a 60 year old aircraft engine, you can't pull over to the curb, ya know)
