IHSR kicked off its 2018/2019 season at a member's home in Darnestown, MD on 10/6, and it was a resounding success.

Even with 4 or 5 stalwart regulars absent, we had 15 racers from MD, PA, WVA, VA, and Washington, DC run 4 classes. Our complete schedule and car classes can be seen here: interstatehomeslotracingclub.yuku.com As several new guys found out yesterday, we have loaners available for new guys.

Next UP: I'll be setting up my rare THREE lane Scalextric track at the Slot Car Show in White Marsh, MD on Saturday, 10/13. Come run some laps and meet some IHSR guys. Here's the layout set up for the last show:

The next race date is Saturday, October 20 at Hellenbach Raceway in Charlestown, West Virginia. This monster is the closest thing to a commercial track you'll find in someone's basement. You NEED to come race on this!!! Email me at tlbrace2008@yahoo.com for more info.

I was one of the new guys, really liked the pre '63 class. Great racing and a good bunch of enthusiasts. Hope to make some of the future races.
