Sounds like a fun one.
Are you running 'stock' Scalextric or a variety of classes?

Looking forward to seeing the results - hope it's a fun event.

What format will you be using - timed sessions with lane rotations? I prefer lap length sessions, that way just like in most real races you can't win if you don't cross the finish line first for the final lap. Some of us may remember a certain #3 car cutting down a tire on the final lap and losing the 500. In a timed race a car could have a big enough lead to be sidelined at the end of the race and still win with the most laps and segments. Also, do you have a way to keep things close - like a 'Lucky Dog' provision that allows a car (or cars) to get a lap back at the end of a session?

We had a distinguished guest racer today...Chris Walker from Canada made his presence known!
Scott took first
Chris shared Scott's car and zoomed into second
Jonathan skidded into third
We went slightly over the 5 mile mark, but a good race indeedy!

Great looking track and judging by the score card, you had much closer racing than Nascar has.

Good racing, and good fun, would love to drop by again.....especially now that I have a little time on the track ;)

Thanks for posting results and lots of pictures. Wish I could have been there - mostly for the racing but also amazing to see green out back through the window when I have 4 feet of snow in my yard.

Looks like some good close racing based on the final lap totals!
