Mr. & Mrs. FUBAR,
I would like to extend my most gracious Thank You to you both for an outstanding afternoon of tinkering, playing, racing and just having FUN!
It was an awesome afternoon with the both of you and Pete Ross there. We spent time testing and tuning in preparation for the big race next Sunday, August 31.
Also thanks for the tips on making those H&R chassis work on your track.
This week I am going to spend some time at my local Dentist's office sniffing on some Nitrous Oxide :auto-nx: as I want to be totally ready for all the laughing and good times we are going to have racing those 1:25 behemoths around Buzzard Bay Raceways. I'm already getting a bit giddy just thinking about how much FUN we had this afternoon. The scary part is how close all the cars were to one another in performance. It's going to come down to driving - perhaps a well planned nerf here and there to help the competition along. :banana-dance:
Just put me down for one of the slots in the slot race. I will be there by hook or by crook.
Hey, that rain we had this afternoon showed you have a very water tight room. I was impressed when the outside temp dropped from 96 to 67 in about 20 minutes. There was a lot of energy absorbed by that thunderstorm. BTW - when we got back to the big city of Umatilla, it was bone dry!
See you with a controller in my hand next Sunday around 1 PM. Thanks for all you do for the hobby of slot car racing. I need to spend some time looking through your "Slot Car Museum" one of these fine days.
I hear that Pete Ross will have his pressure smoker cranked up and there might even be something akin to Southern Slotburgers served?
