We like the wireless controllers because they allow 4-6 drivers to spread out around our 6’x16’ table. However, with our recent wireless controller failure, I’d like to set up the table for wired controller backups. What have you found to be the best way to set up remote plugs for the wired controllers away from the control unit?

I believe the controllers are nothing more than phone line. People have cut and sliced additional cord using that. I can't believe you've had that many failures. I had mine for almost 7 yrs now and only had to replace one and that's because it had a sensitivity issue.

To have six wired controllers, you'll also need the Carrera 30348 wired extension box. Dave is right, you can use phone cord. The Carrera system is unique to them and has the lock tab offset, whereas the phone cord lock tab is centrally mounted.
