I have found the Carrera digital controllers to be rather fragile. I’ve had two of six button failures in my first year. I did like to upgrade to digital trigger controllers. Wireless is preferred but hard wired would work.

What do you like and dislike?

Very few options for wireless trigger. I can only think of one at the moment- the Frankenslot.

If you go wired, you can go with Frankenslot, Truspeed, or- for an assembled in the U.S. option (if you live here, this may make parts, questions, and repairs easier)- the Ramjet.
