Progress

Postby Gameover » Sun Dec 14, 2014 9:03 pm

Well I've had my road course taken down for at least a month if not longer. I was in the smallest room in the house. And decided to move to the larger room in the basement. So I had to take my track apart and move all the crap into the smaller room. During this long slow process I was still working off my old bench that was still in the small room. Had to make room in the larger room so I could move it. Well today that was accomplished. Here is my new improved bench. When I started slots I was just tuning them so I had a simple set up but now moving forward I started scratch building so I improved my bench :).

Why haven't I seen that Fly 935K3 on the track yet???
Nice workbench, BTW. It's good to have a work area. Now we need to inaugurate the track.........

Harry the grill is always ready! You make burgers I make venison or steaks! :).
Paul I need a new chassis for it. I bought it with a group,of other cars and the chassis has a big crack from one side to the other. So she looks good in the case for now.

'I make venison or steaks!"

Big Money! No wonder your racers are so happy.

If you want, I'll try to fix the chassis?

It's got gobs and gobs and gobs of glue. But I'll gladley send it your way. Nobody races at my track but my kids and I. Never had a race day here. But I love grilling so any time I have friends over we grill :) gas or charcoal I have both and a electric smoker too :)

I know the feeling. All my track is in boxes with the exception of a few cars and a make shift temp. Table for my artin oval so the kids can still race. Been a mess down there. I'm hoping to get the track up by Christmas as I have the entire week of and the kids are getting new slot cars for Christmas :).

So that's what the top of a workbench is supposed to look like?, I haven't seen mine in years!
Nice space you got going there.
