Look pretty good to me. I wish I had the skills to take a better photo. It seems the more I try and mess with the settings, the less I like the results. What has really gave me a chuckle is the new phone The General gave me. Sad when it can take a photo that closely rivals the ones I take with a regular camera.

Peter, sent you a PM sir.

Nice one Peter, I likemthe look of the wheels, and the light seems to cast that barn shadow over a long forgotten work horse.
Good pic, Good subject

Great shot! Also appreciate the "how it was done" detail. :)

Peter they are outstanding. My particular favorite is the Ford pickup in front of the Bon Eco store; absolutely perfect. I think you said your diecasts are 1/24th; I collect 1/18th and have thought about doing something similar. How about some pointers on perspective, camera settings, etc for us photographically challenged individuals?

Fantastic shots Peter, I haven't been to Tamworth for a while now.
In fact my last visit was to, the Tamworth Hotel , unfortunately not for a nice cold one.
But I do pass it when we head to Bon Echo for camping.
You were only about 45 mins from me.

Bob,

Not much happening at the Hotel these days.

Bon Eco Design is owned by very good friends of mine. We are looking at ways to revive and promote Tamworth. The vignettes with these photos is one angle we are working on. These were just some preliminary shots to present to local business owners.

Thats great Peter, Tamworth can be a lost jewel, The 8ld Beaver Lake pavilion was a hor spot yrs ago too. Mind you I will have to pm you about my last visit to Tamworth, rather than spoil this great thread.
The pics look fantastic by the way.

I'm going to be really picky here. I think you're a smidge too far back from the buildings. There is something slightly wrong with the proportions when looking at the building doors. There isn't much in it, but it just sets me slightly uneasy with respect to the overall.

I know it's not an easy thing to judge in the viewfinder. If you were able to shoot live with a laptop or a tablet it would be much easier to get the setup just right.

Of course it is easy for me to say it looks a little "off". I'm just so impressed by watching the growth of your abilities.
