Thanks all for the comments Johnny the gravel is glued down really well a good layer underneath & another good layer over the top & the best thing about the glue it dries nice & clear , Ember I absolutely
love your track a real masterpiece , there is only 1 place on the track were cars with wings hit & I have already started to change that & has yet to paint that area even though I do not run magnets my track only
runs at about 9 - 10 volts for more realistic speed around the track which I prefer when I lived on the Central Coast & started racing slots everything was magnet at high volts then I raced at another place & that was on a wood track no magnets & at only about 10 volts so much better & you had to learn how to drive the car thats what I still prefer on my own track I remember you saying that before in an article about closeness of cliff faces & belive me I took that on board when building mine
