Pete's wheels are amazing. I wish I'd paid a little extra and got him to make mine up for me. They might then be doing their job on the track rather than lurking in a box waiting.

Maybe with the next one. For now, I'm going to focus on the cars. I've picked up a Matchbox Aston Martin Ulster, a Matchbox Mercedes SSK, a Pyro Alfa Romeo Gran Turismo, a Matchbox Bugatti and an Airfix MG Magnette to try my hand at converting to slots and rounding out the pre war stable.

Peter those shrubs look good, did they have any foliage on them before you sprinkled with flocking?

I need to make some more low shrubs for my track. Might be time to search some more in the garden.

Your pics are very motivating for me. I've been wanting to try my hand at some early race cars roughly those that ran from 1905-1915. I've got several waiting on me in my to do pile, but after having a look through your pics again I may have to move them to the top. Great work on your cars and scenery.

At the moment I have a Renault, Stanley Steamer, and Model T just dying to be built. I've taken the Speedster body below and am able to cast it in sections such as the tool box, seats, or fuel tank just whichever section I'll need. The Highway Pioneers kit I've found are perfect for this because most of the old cars just had the hood and radiator and the rest were speedster parts. My father in law has that Mercer and if I can get these things together will be on my list.

Right you are. The Sedum can also be left long to make full sized trees.
