Quonset hut

i just received notification my hut made it to my door step today. yahoo!!! now i need to build it and paint it. it came as an unpainted kit.

lets see your for inspiration :)

That does look a little small. The picture below is mine. Sorry but can't figure out how to post it right now, you'll have to click on it. it is over in the abecedarian proxy thread. I made it based on plans for one from Fox Field in Lancaster, CA. and it is to scale.

I think your looks great it is just a little under scale. Like the picture with the Camaro on jacks

To make some of my under scale building "taller" I have used lego's for a brick foundation.

Just adding two layers would raise the hut up nicely!

Steve - It looks pretty good!

I almost bought that kit but realized it wasn't as big as I'd thought. If you are worried about height you could add some walls about 1-2" tall it could sit on - that would cheat it pretty well.

Steve, David has a good point about raising the sides. mine is built that way also.

Finished my hut tonight. Raised it up and painted it. Looks pretty good i think. I added some fencing and my two parts trucks came too.
