Paint for guard rails???

Is there's a paint out there that can adhere to plastic guard rails? I have the red and white Ninco guard rails. I prefer silver or gray. When primed and painted, the paint flakes off after a little use, especially when you bend them to conform ro a corner.

Thanks in advance for any insight!

I have used Rustoleum Painters Touch Metallic Aluminum on my plastic mesh fencing. It is designed to work on plastic. Holds great, I even took it down, rolled up for a while. Pulled it out and no paint came off.

Krylon Fusion is another paint that is made for plastics. It might help to roughen up the guard rails with steel wool before you paint them. If it was me I would start off by doing just a short section in a place that sees a lot of action to see how that holds up before I did all of the guard rails.
