Formal introduction
Posted: Sun Jun 08, 2014 8:23 pmHey all I never really introduced myself here kinda just been laying back in the weeds a bit then sold a few cars here. So here it is. My name is steve I'm from Minnesota and you can say I'm addicted to these things lol. Just ask the guys I race with on thursday nights lol. The first thing they say when they see me is what did you buy this week. Well it all started with my wife and I wondering what to get our boys for Christmas this last year. They are 8 and 3. For some unexplainable reason out of nowhere I remembered I had a slot car track when I was a kid. So I said a slot car track. Of course she said what is that? Well after showing her some videos on YouTube we showed the boys the videos and of course they loved it. So we got a carrera 1/43 track. I built a table and went all out we had like 20 cars by February. Then I met the crew I race with. They race 1/32 magless. So I bought a few cars and met them one Thursday evening, wow was that fun! Then crap hit the fan! I now have a 13x4 1/32 track in my basement with a variable power supply and 41 cars not including my 1/43 stuff and the kids 1/32 cars I've gotten them. This is a great hobby and it helps keep my little ones away from the video games a bit. Here's a few pictures.
