Tyers Targa

Some of you have seen this work in progress in other places. Some of you may not have.

It started its life as a small Scalextric Sport track of 14m (oh, crumbs... I've got to convert to old speak!)... umm... 45-ish feet. That was about 3 and a half years ago now.

This is where the permanent track began around February 2009.
Image

By August 2009 it had developed a little.
Image

In December 2010 it looked like this.

This is how the overview looked in August this year.

Even now, the track is an enjoyable drive. It's not a hard core race track. It was never intended to be one. But it has enough quirks in the layout to keep it a challenge.

For some reason, Photobucket is playing up a little currently. But I'll post some prettier pictures later just in case some one is interested.

Thanks again for the welcome guys.

The number of slot car gals is multiplying around here!

Perhaps you should worry. You know what happens when a few of us get together. ;)

This is still a favourite photo. Such a gorgeous car. It tends to be my go to car for photo shoots. I really need another hero car... Jules you promised!

I'd best stop for now. The next (last) crop will be more up to date, taken in the last 6 months since the track was painted.

Thanks for looking

Embs, Hopefully, you will find a new Hero model in the new bunch of stuff coming out soon. That Charger is still a good looking car complemented, of course, by your wonderful scenery.

I'm pleased you joined up with HRW. It's a great place and always nice to see your fab work.

Cheers

Jules

I might be mistaken, but didn't you do an article on how you made the graffiti/posters?
