It was a loong time ago. That's the circuit I had when Dickie (from SCC fame) and I first met. He wanted to visit our beautiful Québec City with Robin and he found me on a slot car forum and asked questions about hotels, parking, etc. A few weeks later, he was in my basement and we shared some laps around that track. That was the start of a nice friendship. And it opened up a whole new world for us when we went south of the border to race with the North East racers. Great memories that led to many great adventures. Thanks for the memories Harry!!

Ah yes, I remember that track. And I recall it was a blast to race on. As Christian says, this is where a great friendship started between us guys in the northeast and those in Quebec. We've had many wonderful trips up north since then.
And I started out with Scaley Classic as well. :D

That, sir, is a super sweet layout that anyone would be proud to have today.

Everything, as you see it in the picture, has been put in a big box last February and I haven't removed the lid since then. My hope is that I starved everything to death in there. Keeping fingers crossed. Maybe I'll open the box next Spring... outside on the patio, just to be on the safe side.
