Same here, can't wait to get there.
Steve, how's the weather forecast looking in your area? I heard there is some bad weather moving your direction. I'm hoping we can come in on the north side of it.

Hello Butch,
The biggest challenge with the weather is all the rain we're getting. Thursday will be sunny and 50F. Friday showers and 45F. Saturday and Sunday partly sunny and 45F. Bring a raincoat.
Travel safely - see you soon!

Sounds like a great time; I really like the two-race, shorter duration approach.

Should be a good time to be had by all. Two new classes anything can happen. Really looking forward to the Revo race it should be a good race, basically a spec race. See you Friday.

Can't wait to hit the road. Always good to get out of the office. Even better when it is to hang out and do some racing!

Team Quick Slicks/Clover leaf and Butch from Cincinnati are on the way. This is a long ride considering who I have to deal with.

Gotta say... It was a GREAT weekend of racing slot cars. From the moment we arrived, it was a fun filled event, and was great to see slot friends from Michigan, Ohio, Quebec, Connecticut, Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
Friday was a good time of practicing and tuning cars for Saturday's Group 5 race and Sunday's RevoSlot Marcos race.
The 12 hour Group 5 race on Saturday was won by the Cloverleaf team
The 4 hour RevoSlot race was won by the Can-Am team
But IMHO, anybody who attended this weekend's event were treated like winners. I think I speak for everyone in that our hosts Steve and Holly were awesome hosts. Great meals and snacks, a place to sleep for a couple nights and a pleasant atmosphere all weekend long.
Already looking forward to next year... :D

Awesome race put on by an awesome host family. Thanks to Steve, Holly and Thomas for opening their home to us and making sure we were well cared for.
It is amazing how we always pick up right where we left off. Great friends and great times
The racing was as fun as it has ever been. Loved the new format. Same classes next year?

Also loved the new format, letting us sleep between two races and giving the chance to two different teams to win a race.
The Group 5 race was pretty much decided after 2 hours of racing (unless a major mechanical problem occurred) but everyone kept pushing and it made for great racing.
The RevoSlot race was very very tight for the Top 3 teams. A basically-stock race almost always does that and that means great racing. I would redo this anytime, even though we got unlucky this year with an axle, wheel or tire (the jury is still out on this one, we'll have to investigate more).
Thank you to Holly and Steve for being such great hosts, as always. This is still amazing to experience, even after all those years.
Pictures of the race are now available in my Flickr account:
