Had trouble getting a driver to volunteer, eh? Looks like a neat build but "running for Pinks" is always a gamble.....good luck!

Yes Dave . Decided to go for a paid driver. Carrara's " Harry Hot Foot " got cold feet!

I like the open back and the fat tires showing. Where did that body come from, a lucky grab at a toy counter? There are a lot of great bodies that are almost 1/32 in toy departments. We ran a whole series based on a '32 Ford Coupe hotrod toy.
I thought about the SCX motors for the very reason you chose it. I wanted to do a sidewinder, so I didn't do it. I hope my gamble on the old Slot.it pays off.

Rob it was actually a SCX car those cheapies with the tub type chassis. One of the guy's that I race with gave it to me to fix. Never happened , landed in the parts box. Hope he doesn't recognise it tomorrow night when I test it on the road course.

Oops never thought of that!
Checked up on the model , it's a SCX 333 SP normal plastic chassis. Can always given him the bare chassis back. Not all is lost !

Looks good, Richard!
What are you running on the rear? Are those 13mm F1 tires?
If it runs as well as the XK-120 that you sent off to the ROAR fun run, then you're not in any danger of loosing your car..............
This will be an interesting challenge to watch!

This is getting to be quite a wild series. I doubt there is anything like it anywhere else.
Well done.

That's all Bob's doing. "If you build it (unbelievably fast), the loonies will send cars to run on it."
