I have my first brass chassis build ready to send to Harry for the brass-am challenge :banana-dance:
just a quick peak for now
you will have to wait until harry posts a page on this car to see more

I plan on getting it in the post by the end of next week
just want to show it to my club mates before it makes it's trip to the USA

My friend (former HRW member), Geoff, had a taxi service in Auckland, sold it and has been walkabout on the South Island for quite a while. Last I heard, he was a bulldozer/grader operator in a mountainside vineyard that has earthquakes now and then. His kids and wife are with him, living out of a truck when on the road. Geoff has a lot of guts and he loves what he and the family are doing. I haven't heard from him in a while, but I imagine him and his family running cars on an old Carrera set he has.

Geoff can't be too far away from where I live. We've had somewhere around 12000 after shocks since the big quakes we had about 6 years ago. Fortunately they are few and far between now but the odd one that turns up still frightens the carp out of ya.
