Mark, we'd be willing to host a race here at Slot Car Corner.
And also be willing to sponsor by providing 5 pair of Classic Steel wheels for prizes.

Hey now......
Who says there isn't any 1956 cars available????
What about my '56 Buick here?
Just have to find a kit and whack the roof off one! :D
Monogram stocker chassis slide right up under it with minimal trimming......

Hi Mark!
Yeah it is odd how the '56 Chevy always gets left out all the time?
Plenty of '55 and '57 Chevy everything.......
'56 Chevy's have always been the odd ball of the 3 it seems....
I think my '56 Buick had been yours at one time....???? :D
I got it off of Chris(Cagee13) from a lot he bought off of you awhile back if memory serves me correctly????
Needless to say I am quite pleased with how it performs on the monogram stocker chassis.
You got a quite nice field of '50s bodies there yourself for scratch builds!
I need to find a few of those to add to mine.
I like that '57 Ford and that T-Bird you have there.

This is weird enough that I'll give it a try too
Regarding "must look the part" - are you going to allow the luxury brands (Lincoln, Cadillac, Imperial, etc), cars with "continental" rear ends, or convertibles of models that were not originally available as such?

If you can make it look like a race car from these years, and it fits the years allowed, then yes.
continental kit.. come on now really, NO :hand:
Dickie, Jeremy:
appreciate you guys volunteering to host, Jeremy, we have the 2 road courses, so I guess your oval will be needed.
Shouldn't be a problem to get 1 more oval, I know there are a few out there.
Harry , Dickie thanks for the prize donations also. I figure for my prize for the best looking/built car, we can have a vote at each of the host tracks with whom ever you have on hand that would like to help. Myself I will not be eligible for this, but I will be racing for the win !

Yellow Dog tires have been added to the rear tires as a option
(these must be the rounded sidewall) As long as there is a "R" in the code, it's a rounded sidewall tire
