Looks like there is going to be some pretty good racing there! :D
Thanks for posting the initial qualifying info - will be interesting to see how much of a change the added voltage makes in how the field shakes out.

While he isn't looking I would put on a new one anyway :)
But blame me if it goes badly.

In all honesty, I haven't been following this proxy too closely. It was seeing Jeremy's daughter's build photos that got me interested. She put a lot of effort in to making that car look good, and it would be neat to see the other entrants lined up. So come, David, plaster this place with photos of the field!
 pretty please with sugar on top?

A fantastic job, indeed! Thanks, David. I'll be watching this proxy closely from now on.
I love the Christmas lights on the track, by the way. :handgestures-thumbup:
But what's with the daycare escapees on the infield? :scared-eek:

I hesitate to type this as it's a product of my sick sense of humor, but the first thought that came in to my head when I saw them was this:
Speed bumps?

I'd better warn you that when you turn the voltage up to 12 volts my car will probably really "take off." I am hoping that I put enough weight in the front to keep it from "flying" too high! :) [I can't believe Harry missed the opportunity to make this observation!]
Looking forward to the running of the race!

I think my "lead sled" will probably benefit greatly from the 12 volt run as it was easy to drive on that voltage on the road course at Mark's Model World.
At 10 volts, with my tall gearing and heavy frame, yeah, I imagine mine would be a "wrap a rubber band around the trigger" and just watch it go around and around critter...
So I'll throw my vote in for 12 (or more) volts! :D
But I defer to the "group"...

Running them at 12 volts is fine with me, whatever you choose. My previous comment about "taking off" and "flying" were related to my reputation as a "Frequent Flyer." :) My car may launch, but that's part of racing!

Not if you've got a 1/32 Midget series in mind, it won't! :naughty:
Hugely relieved the Hornet made it - only just!
David.
