A proper jalopy

Last time we raced on the oval I realized I didn't have a proper Jalopy, even Fred had a Jalopy, so I just had to build one.
Pretty happy with how it turned out, just need to see how it runs/

It's a Shotgun Dave inspired paint job. I used Futura on it so it is a little glossy but after Cheater dunkles it a few times, it will look the part.

I'm not sure how you got it to look like that, but you got it right. Looks a lot like the old pile I drove in high school. Are there holes in your floorboards too? Nice work.

Very cool - if you have any tips for getting that rusted out look, I'd love to hear them. i plan on making tables this winter to get my track off the floor, and then start adding scenery as well. I want to buy some die cast models and give them the rust treatment for part of the scenery, but I've never tried making cars look old before.
