Kick-A$$ Chop Steak

Here it is.
Approx 1 & 1/2 lbs ground beef 85% lean
(it was 1 lb 4 ozs to be exact)
1) 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
2) 1/2 teaspoon mesquite ... see note
3) 2 shakes cayenne pepper
4) 2 tablespoons teriyaki ... see note
5) 1 tablespoon soy sauce
6) bread crumbs as needed ... see note
Notes
1) McCormick grill mates mesquite
2) Lee Kum Kee (chicken marinade) teriyaki
3) instead of bread crumbs I use Hungry Jack instant mashed potatoes
Crank up the old Weber & pre heat on medium
at this time slice up some onions & wrap them in foil with a little butter, salt, pepper, garlic & cayenne
& put em on the grill ... indirect heat
once the grill is ready place steaks on grill over direct heat close the lid & crank the heat up as high as it will go
& walk away. You want about 7 minutes on this side.
Turn your steaks & drop the heat back down to medium, close the lid & walk away.
Depending on your grill they should cook for 7 to 9 minutes.
Once off the grill let rest a few minutes & serve.
Unwrap the onions just B-4 serving.
Sit down & enjoy.
We had it with just a salad however a baked potato would be great with it .
