Hey Gang,
I'm somewhat new to the site so most of you probably don't know that I'm a writer. I was asked to write a story for Yahoo.com about Father's Day Gifts. I managed to sneak in a plug for our favorite hobby (as well as shameless plugs for my beloved Baltimore Ravens and the movie "Predator," which is one of my all-time favorites.
Here's the piece:

Well done! Great to see the hobby included.
And I like that grill :)

Thanks. I like the grill, too. But I'll be sticking with my Weber until it dies. Which, as we charcoal fans know, will never happen.

It's Paella - My mother taught me how to make it and I've tinkered with the recipe for years. Rice, shellfish, chicken, clams, mussels and Chorizo sausage cooked in a sofrito broth. It's easy and you can use almost anything. This one was made for a party in my parent's honor, so I went first class. But I've made it with just rice, chorizo and chicken and it's delicious. Especially good for feeding a crowd (the kind you get at a slot car race, perhaps?). I'll write up the recipe and send it along. Is there a Slot Car Recipe page?
