Hey Bruce, I'm not buying much these days, but I'd like that JPS car if there's one available, please. :)

That Wrangler 934 looks nice! That's a Slotwings car - right? If so, does it have the lightweight body that most Slotwings cars have? What's the price on it?

What the price on the Porsche 935? Is this Sideways or Slotwings?

The 935 is Sideways. The 934 is Slotwings. As for the body, I'll have to wait until Friday. I should have one in hand by then. The prices are good with the weak Euro.

My "Slotwings" 512 do not have special lightweight bodies?
Looks like the same Porsche Fly has been making for years, just new paint and a different brand on it.

Harry, I mentioned this because I thought that the Racer Ferrari 512 BB was heavier than the Slotwings Ferrari 512 BB. I compared them both at my local slot car shop and the Slotwings car body seemed to me to be lighter; which, if true, would be good, since racer bodies are already quite light.

Could very well be. But I would say the Slotwings version isn't going to keep pace with the Racer, not even a " Monday - I just got promoted & they are filming me make this" version :)
At least not without a good amount of tuning.
It's still a nice looking car, and in the right hands will make a great slot car.

My plan is to build a chassis for the car. I'm interested in a light body so that I can keep the CoG as low in the car as possible in the build. It will either be styrene or brass..................you folks are rubbing off on me. Maybe there's a pill I can take..................
