These cars were supposed to be released alreay. Now showing a November release.
I ordered 2 from a local hobby shop.
We race open wheel Scaley's at a local track (wood,12 volts) and the current Scaley's get destroyed very easily.
I am anxious to get a couple of these so I can try my hand at painting and decaling an open wheel car.

Shoreline Model Raceways has a new class for open wheel cars. A few years ago we had a class just for Scalextric Dallara IRL cars that were stock except for spec silicone tires. We race on wood tracks at 10 volts and never had a car get damaged. The new class is for Scalextric modern open wheel cars with FC130 type motors. If the new cars use the same motor they will be a welcome addition to the class.

So the generic race schemes aside, they make some great non-magnet/wood cars in the class.

Until the new Carrera's arrive. I want to see how these work out.

Both are so nice! would not take much to add some sponsor logos to the Ninco's if needed, they look good enough to me as is!
The Carrera cars are about as nice as you could ask for! those will be in my fleet for sure.
I am a sucker for those steering front ends though!
