Tony,
I've seen these but not tried one. I'm VERY interested to hear your thoughts when it is together!

Cool idea. Not sure I wanna toss the interior or hack it up though. I wonder if with a sidewinder pod they'ld be ok?

The guy who designed them is a local racer. He brought one over to the track and it really looked like it was a nice alternative to a stock chassis. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for the added performance from a Monogram NASCAR.

I put one under the "66 charger. It was a huge improvement, handles like a slot it. We don't race that as a class, but I did it just for fun.

Now THIS is a 3D chassis we actually need.
With the amount of work I have had to do on the originals, this is a fair deal IMHO.
I'm in.

When I built brass inline chassis for one of mine, I cut down the original and made this:

It looked ok for my race nights.

Hi Gents,
These are the chassis that I cooked up...
The stock interior will not work with the pod, as the 'floor' of the interior interferes with the front part of the pod forward of the motor... Modifying the interior as Harry did, or getting a generic Parma/Champ interior work well.
I have had requests for an inline version to fit wider rear wheels/tires, and I hope to get to them someday.
Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns... I have had no complaints to date...
Cheers
