Race: Thoroughbred Sports Car Series

Driver: Roy McCarthy

Roy McCarthy and his two sons, Russell and Spencer, formed McCarthy Motorsport using Roy’s knowledge and expertise with MGs. The budget F1s they released in Europe a few years ago weren't as colorful as these are. And they had a FC130 motor since they weren't trying to replicate any specific type. I wonder what motor is in these.

Still have that car and it still runs well.

I believe that sold for $44.95 for a pair of them.

Without a doubt they could make a great car for a proxy race. You can use all of the tips you learn about from reading Home Racing World, as it responds very well to that type of tuning.

Great car to get young racers interested in open wheel racing.
