I pre-ordered the Red Lola these are designed by the man that did the NSR cars prior to the founders accidental death. If you look at the bottom of a NSR chassis it says design by GSM. His name eludes me at the moment but the design is interesting.

44.97 euros no vat = about $50 + shipping, not bad.

I went to the MRE site this morning and looked at every slot car they have. Wow. There were 2 brands I never heard of, a huge inventory, and using the current dollar conversion, the non-VAT prices are quite competitive. There are several things US dealers don't seem to have that I may order one day. That's when I will learn about their shipping costs. Pendle's shipping costs have always been great so maybe...

I wish them success. Maybe, with a little money in the bank, they can find a more unique marque for their new cars. It looks like an interesting car, too bad it has already been done. (I know, but one less headlight doesn't really move the creativity needle very far.) I guess the slot world has its "greatest hits" roster also.

WOW... a correct T70 coupe without the Fly extended nose.... Finally!

Jesla, there were at least 4 different noses. Fly used one of them, this is another. Both are modeled pretty much correct. I was confused by your post so I googled images of the Lola T70, and sure enough, 4 headlights or 2, long nose or not, the only combination I didn't find was a 4 headlight short nose.

I should have been more specific ..... the long nose was not correct for a lot of the liveries that Fly modeled.

Oh. Well, I wondered what happened. You've been around here a long time, like me. I wondered if maybe you had never warmed up to Fly or something. I have met a couple of guys who just never liked them.
