Might as well join the crowd. At least past versions of these were at least a functioning model.

Will also be interesting to see what sort of parts Policar/Slot.it release to assist those of us ready for that "rabbit hole" :)

The classic F1 models work. Do they work like a Slot.it? No.

I am pretty sure Mr. Johnny, that you are privvy to knowing that a Flyslot F1 CAN run smoothly. In fact with little effort. Surprised at your comment. :whistle:

The versions with the offset gearing work, but not as well or desirable as the traditional inline.

There is a fair number of MARCH and Lotus models here that run smooth and quick with just a little time on the Razor and a PG shoe change.

But we shall see what they create under the hood. Could be equal to an SRC Renault...and that would be very unfortunate.

I like those 70s F1 cars - they look fine and go well. They do run a bit better with a magnet but are tuneable to run non mag - we tend to turn the voltage down either way.

I am quite looking forward to them, my first individual slot car purchase was a AFX P34 (I still have it all be it in pieces though it is 40 years old)

I don't follow a lot of motorsport on TV - and have never been a big fan of F1 - I received a book on 1970s F1 fir Christmas the in camera series and the cars are great - such individual character about them that is missing in today's cars.
