Policar/Slot.it “Simple Chassis” GT4

From the MRE Toy Fair Report.
Policar set cars won't come from the normal range by Policar or Slot.It. There is a need for simpler cars and these are already decided. The sample Toyota rally car that was available to test is great fun to drive - without magnets you can slide it to silly angles and it just recovers without deslotting, exactly what you need for a set car.
The technical parts are very simple - press-fit wheels and crownwheel, S-Can motor rated at 18K, tyres that work well on the new track but also have a decent lifespan, and a bodyshell without too many bits than can fall off. Maurizio confirmed that the second set car will be a version of a Slot.It car - see another post for more information about this. One thing we did like very much - the set car guide has a replaceable blade which is changed by simply sliding it out from the front and replacing it with a shallower one that will be supplied, allowing the cars to run on other tracks. The Policar track has a slot 8mm deep.

So it looks like a new car/chassis is on the way.
