Nice to see no magnets as ballast, plus plenty of time to prepare...
Very glad to see Cloverleaf hosting again...

I would like to throw out a tuning tip for anyone looking for one. This is a legal tip for the Nationals that is why I have added it here. You are allowed to use NSR4855 BRASS Axle Spacers 0.160" (4.06mm) Thick for 3/32" (2.37mm) Axles in the front of your chassis to take up the slop. The spacers will slide into the hoops and should not require any modification to the chassis. It is a snug fit. You can then add some oval point set screws to your chassis and adjust the axle / front wheels to your liking.

I have a question for any other type Racing , some of my builds I have been using brass washers as spacers, is there any rule against using them. My question would be for future builds for any other races

Fathead, only if you win is it illegal. Then you will get disqualified in the post race tech inspection. Just kidding, no rule against it in any class I race but there could be a series that requires stock spacers that aren't brass. You'll just have to check with the local slot car law enforcement organization. :D

For any race that we hold at this time brass spacers are legal. Most of the NSR spacers are brass anyway.

The only reason why I ask is the spacers I have on the H&R RTR chassis are plastic and when I was building my 1/32 scale I started using the brass washers, and the reason I used them was because the bushings were brass . And by using them you were able to get the tires closer and can tuck inside the wheel wells better.
