Maybe. The other nice thing is you can put them anywhere because they do not have to clip on the track. The current ones can hit the support structure under the track.

If you buy a roll of the Carrera guardrail, I guess these clips will work on just about any track. system.

Great idea, I noticed I had limited ares to place mine due to how they attach.
These would solve that issue for sure. Will have to get some when you get stock.

Too $$$$ Did not know the Carrera clips cost 1.00 each. Good thing they come with the sets cause we would do without before buying either replacement. We use no guardrail (as they all got broken into 6 " pieces) and have run-off areas with no problems. Plus you have to screw these down which would suck! Also the guardrail has to be somewhat forgiving or you will trash your car. I would not like to get slammed into these new permanent clips as they would not budge. We vote NO!

Thank you for your thoughts but like the Formula Ford you said wasn’t for “us”, you may want to try a product before drawing your conclusion. These as well as the Formula Ford cars were designed to fill a void as well as the chance to design a product for the slot car enthusiast. There was a time when this sort of thing was welcomed with open arms. Spread your wings. I like when people bring new ideas to our hobby. Is it for everyone, probably not but to totally discount someone’s hard work, well it’s kind of rude.
