That's a Toronado by Classic, I think. Speedy little dude, too. I got a line on reproduction bodies from Classic. I may go look for a Toronado!

Sure do miss the shootout! Just wasnt in the cards this time. Would have liked to get some more driving lessons from Fred, and more winning lessons from Cheater. And i can still smell that food!!!. Maybe next year if my invites still good.

Thoughts:

1. New Scalextric inline GT cars are just a great series.
2. Thunderslots are worth the extra coin.
3. Overscale giant midgets cannot be raced without your sides hurting from laughter.
4. Pickles can build a cool piggy truck.
5. Cheater always wins :)

A big thanks to Cindy and Harry for hosting this event once again, always a highlight of my summer. It is always great to get away and have some good clean fun with slot cars and good people. (Cindy and Harry are the best). Thanks to SCC for all the goodies.
1. As Harry said, the Scalextric GT cars are a great series, great runners with just a pair of Quick Slicks.
2. Thuderslots are a blast
3. The Showdown series cars are another great series and Brew is quite the builder.
4. You never go hungry at HRW (Cindy makes a wicked carrot cake)
