The "Colorado" Crew is going to build up this Mustang as a "go cruzin" car.

Boyz don't think they have ever seen a 79 Mustang build on the site?

I've got 1 of those kits and have often wondered what to do with it. I'll be keeping a close eye on this one.

Todd since David sent some of his RMS Resin crew here from Colorado, it has stepped up the game for the Boyz.

Thinking the rivalry - competition has changed the Boyz work ethic a little!!

The Tamiya Coral Blue first coat is on now.

Originally the thought was maybe leave it white, but now the consensus is maybe a light gun metal, or Navy Blue or champaigne.

Those tough decisions will be determined over a few beers tonight!!

The Colorado Crew added the flat black side pipes, yet trying to keep things simple.

Hope you don't mind me asking but what chassis is it sitting on? The wheels look like Pioneer T/A jobbies.

Wobble to your chassis question, yes it is a Pioneer chassis with a Pioneer power plant.

As the Colorado Crewman is pointing out, they cut the chassis in half, shorten it and then hot glue 1/8" styrene tubing to pull it all together again.

Nothing pretty here, but it works great!!

The Dundee Crew also takes out the spaces in the front axle and shortens the front wheel base by "two spacers" which always helps in the front end clearance department.

The Boyz have looked at this car in the back lot for a long time before rolling it into the garage.

Not a lot of body interest on this years Mustang.

The thinking was the paint would be a big part of this build.

Now after a very big tab at the local Dundee watering hole, one is convinced this is the right combo.

Thought is to darken the Blue, thoughts??
