Now that the holiday is over and the company has left - I am getting back on my builds!
Still working on the chassis - haven't started on the body - but liking how it is starting to shape up... :)

Still working on mine Allan - but at least the chassis on the first car is starting to look like something... :)

Looks good Todd! You've got me thinking about a brass chassis now.............there's so much customization that you can do with a chassis build like that. Is that a combination of copper and brass or is it just two different colors of brass in the chassis?

Looking forward to seeing your progress on this one.

Allan -
It is a combination of brass and piano wire. I haven't had a chance to clean anything up on it yet - so there is some discolorization from heat, etc that throws the look of some of the pieces off a bit. The brass and wire route definitely offers a LOT of design freedom!
If all goes well - I will have this chassis pretty well squared away (and have pictures to share) by tomorrow! :D

Still have to drill the holes in the side pans for the body mounts - but other than starting to install parts - it is ready for track testing! :D

I had work related commitments last night - but did manage to make some progress on the bodies. :)
The exhaust slots have been opened up/cleaned out, a hole has been cut for the intake assembly, all the posts have been removed and a filler piece glued in where the front post hole is (still have to putty/sand that), a roll roll bar has been fabbed for each and the lexan re-pop windshields that BTaylor helped me with have been trimmed to fit and are ready for install after paint!
If all goes well, hope tol be putting down some color tonight! :)

Looking good Todd, oh yes the more the merrier.
This little idea has grown enormously since its first spark.
I can only see it being a regular annual proxy to add to the HRW proxy calendar.
