Really neat that two 1:1 racers would team up to bring us the Chaparral 2J. Must be a thrill for Matt to be working with Jim Hall and I think that Jim is probably pretty excited about seeing his famous sucker car brought back to life in 1/32 scale with 3D printing.
A great collaboration!

LOL I thought something similar - wow if that is 2nd prize 1st prize would have to be special or I would be aiming for 2nd as well (if I was running a car) :)

Aw shoot, I dont think I will be anywhere near 2nd unless its 2nd from the other end, so I bit the bullet and convinced my pal yep, that one Pay Pal and ordered 2.

Matt ran the 2J at The River Run today. Nice car! The car set the new lap record (7.25 sec) in the white (middle) lane with a long can motor, AW configuration and silicone rears. This was it's first time on a track. I expect it will be even faster once he tunes it up; feels like it could potentially get into the 6 sec range in the future........ :text-bravo: :text-bravo:
