My Scaley C2450 Boss Mustang

It has been said, if there are no pictures it can't be true so I went out and got some pictures of my little Boss.
Image
Here it sits between an RMS Mustang and a P-Slots Nissan 350Z.
Image
The original rear wheels broke which called for a new gear setup. I added the CB wheels and Yellow Dog tires along with slotit gears and axle. I used a 36t spur gear with a 11t pinion.
Image Then I added a secret stick to the left rear bearing and held everything in place with hot melt glue.
Image Then the front and rear grilles were glued to the body along with the rear bumper. I had to dremel out the wheel wells a little bit for tire clearance.
Image Due to its spirited nature, some customizing has been done along with a high speed chipped factory paint job.Image And today's run netted a best of 5.244 with consistent runs between 5.4 to 5.9 seconds while running on 13.8 volts and one power unit turned on for track power. I am using three Power units rated at 13.8v @ 7 amps and when I am really feeling good I'll turn on all three units thus giving me 21 amps available. This little car has really changed my opinion on the Scaleys so hopefully when the next one comes in it will be the same.

Nice work. "All the amps" isn't making it any faster though. The car will only draw what it needs. That motor is not even close to pulling one amp. :)
