Power Supply advice needed!

Is there a negative ground version available or a simple conversion to hook up to Ninco terminal track? Keep in mind, I am no electrician, either.

So I still don't understand how those power controllers are wired into a given set up. Does it matter if your using wireless controllers? Any elaboration would be appreciated so I don't end up doing something real dumb - like starting a fire and burning my house down! :o

My simplified version: Of course I took a short cut on my wiring diagram after the Digital Voltmeter. At this point you just wire back into the track wiring, nothing tricky here. The Voltmeters were added just for the wow effect for the grandkids for after setting the current draw from the cars will make the digital readout vary, just like a digital tach.

Thanks for the welcome ShotgunDave and the wiring diagram ccobra. I'm using a Ninco track with wireless controllers. I can turn the power from a high to low setting, but I have no way to dial it in to a specific voltage, which seems like a neat thing to be able to do. I never race with magnets, so newbies can still get themselves into trouble, even on the low setting. (the manual doesn't state how many volts the low setting actually is.

It'll be awhile before grand kids are racing, as my oldest daughter is pregnant with her first baby (and our first grandchild) right now. Feels good to be back into slots after a hiatus of about 40 years. :)

I don't mean to scare you but those kids grow up really fast, just like slot cars :)

You might be surprised.....my 3.5 year old grandson gave Papa a run for his money last summer. He learned about going half speed to stay in the slot and if you run hard and slide a bit in the corners, it's pretty hard to keep up. Teaches you a lot about smooth driving......tail wagging looks fun but's it actually slow!
So yes.......you might be needing those power supplies sooner than you think!

I got the ones that were completely variable, 0-13.9 v since that is the maximum output of my regulated power supplies.
