Noticing some really fun and interesting things going on lately.
New tracks for starters. From wood to plastic. Seems a few are creating new tracks along with full "race room" makeovers. It's always good to see newcomers and veterans alike creating new tracks.
Some "newcomers" here are not really new to the hobby of course. I noticed a few of you are long time slot addicts that are re-discovering your youth :)
So welcome to HRW and hope you enjoy it around here.
New releases are slow this time of year but a few have trickled out here and there.
But slow new releases allows more time for custom builds. And boy do we have those! I hear a lot of great feedback on the custom cars you folks build. You may not think so, but sharing these builds is really motivating to some. It gives the would-be builder plenty of ideas and let's them start collecting the parts they need. Not everyone has big budgets like Gameover, so we have to acquire our parts a little at a time. :)
And finally the proxy fun runs sure are a cool thing to see. Some of the BEST modeling in our hobby is going on right here. Congrats to all of you who build and enter these events. It' a lot of fun to see the field of models all lined up from various tracks.
Good times I think.
