Off to the Racers

I just took delivery of a new Racer 250LM (#29 Mecom, Sebring 1965). Now, all the dealer pics I've seen of it show blanked out headlights. Mine showed up with clear headlights. Does anyone know for sure just how these were supposed to be produced? Not complaining, just curious. Anyone else have this one? What headlights does it have?

I have the #29 Mecom, Sebring 1965 Racer model (it's RCR34, right?), purchased in 2010, and it has the blanked out headlights.

the listing for the various 250LM models shows an RCR34 version with clear headlights. Click that photo to open up additional pics from different angles, and all of these show a model with blanked out headlights.
Could be that they have run out of bodies with blanked out headlights? Either version is correct as Harry pointed out.
Some of the Racer 250LM models have extra-wide bodies (e.g. the dark blue "Vestey", and the green Piper models). The RCR34 Mecom car has the narrower body which is nicer, I think (it is still a lot wider than it should be for scale fidelity).

If it was at Sebring the headlights were covered for the daylight portion of the race and the covers were removed for the night time portion. It was very dark in those days during the night portion of the race. Every car had to have working headlights.
