He has not been feeling the best lately. I am sure he will be along soon though.

I hesitate to answer as I am not Marty's official spokesman. I spoke with him a little over a week ago. He was at home and under hospice care. The doctors have terminated his chemo treatment as it was doing more harm than good. He told me he didn't expect to be able to come to my place for some slotting fun. Since then I have not heard from him directly but I did see that he made a post on Facebook.

Most of my days are kind of fuzzy due to very strong pain killers. Yes Morphine does remove pain.

Today I awoke with minimal pain . . . . . Hoorah!

As ModlerBob mentioned, I am under the care of Hospice now. I am at home, but am very weakened. I would love to visit my slot car room, but don't have the strength to do so.

Thank you all for your concern.

Marty

I never had the pleasure of meeting you but I've been reading posts on HRW for about 2 years now and it certainly does feel like family after awhile. From all of the comments and love I see being expressed here it's obvious your quite a guy and it's nice to know we share this great hobby.

I saw a picture of a palm tree the other day, and I thought of you Marty.

Made me chuckle...
