Had my boys over for some racing action. They had given me the wood to build my track, so it was time they got to see what I built. Both are busy at jobs and life and live 60+ miles away. I was glad they came over.

I applaud you taking time with your dad . Besides the slot car aspect , this article is really about dad . That also holds true in my account as my dad wasn't a slot car fan . However , your story here captured my heart because of you and your fathers relationship away from the hobby a well . I would give anything to have another moment with my dad . He passed so quickly before many things were said between he and I . There was so much more to say . It wasn't until after his passing that I really realized my dad and I's loving relationship and how much we both loved each other . On you end >>> Job well done .
