I doubt that you will find a cheaper XKE than this one. I saw it yesterday and was tempted to get it myself since I don't have any XKE's but I am in the middle of a new track build so I thought better to save my money for that. You can find either Scaley or Carrera D types there also.

Strombecker, Scalextric and Carrera all made D types, Ninco, Strombecker, and Monogram/Revell make E types, Auto Art makes a C type, and Ninco also make a very nice XK120. And several companies make modern Jaguar race cars. I guess it's up to whatever she prefers, there are hundreds of them on E-Bay.

I bought one of the Ninco E-types, linked above. It is a stunning car. I also think the pan chassis is a lot better than any Rev-o-gram chassis. Quick shipping, packed well, I am happy.

I have the same car and it's a great runner. Expect as with all R/M cars I have purchased the pinion gear was split.
