Night Racing with my "new" old cars

Been playing with these ever since I tuned them. Raced for a few hours with my buddy Tieck on Saturday and had to do some night pictures

Once again, I'm late to this party but I just had to "ditto" all of the comments! Cool pics of a very cool looking layout!

Glad you all like the pics. I have a funny story: I'd shimmed the rear wheels of the ground so I could get the lights on. Seems one of the cars not yet tuned had a bad vibe...I'd just get set to take the pictures and the thing would come off the shim, rocket into the 2-4 cars in front of it - knocking them off their shims and I'd have a pile-up in the dark. I'm slow, so it took 4 times before I wedged some plastic in the slot so it would not do it again.

Sigh.

I did finish up all the tuning last night and have some really well running cars now. I did find two of the cars had split rear tires, one had a cracked chassis and I broke one getting the mag out of the rear pocket. All fixed and running now!

I did that with my cars in the pics too, back in the day. I miss having my 1/32 track but I am glad I kept my original lighted cars and the set of Scaley GT40s. Thanks for posting the pics! I'll make a simple 1/32 track again...kids are almost grown now! LOL.
