Scaly Corvette repaint

I picked this car up off of trademe awhile back
as the first half of the 4 day long weekend was wet I decided to repaint it

it was the black/red #69 but as the numbers were wearing off and the interior had been replaced plus tuned up with NSR parts
so it was nowhere near original

motor - NSR 25k which has been moved to the rear
gears - slot-it 9/27 inline
wheels - NSR alloys front and rear with treated supergrip tyres
guide - ninco prorace
interior - lite weight lexan
body - painted in Tamiya camel yellow with black base and grey primer
this makes it a bit darker
decals - Patto's place
front air split-er is home made

Nice repaint. Not a fan of those rims but love everything else!!!

Good choice of body, too. I think those are my favorites to repaint. All the trim and bits are easy to remove safely, and the contours of the body are great for paints that benefit from angular viewing, like metallics and tints over metallics.
